Letters : to Anne Ford, 1966-1969.

Letters from Abigail Adams Homans, great-grandaughter of John Quincy Adams, to Anne Ford, publicity director for Houghton Mifflin, publisher of Homans' Education by uncles (1966). The letters, which mostly comment on the books which Miss Ford has sent, are full of Homans' trenchant wit and reveal her reading interests. Collection also contains photographs of Homans with her pet pug dog. Includes letters, 1967-1970, to Ford from Molly Berkeley, author of Winking at the brim (Boston, 1967).
